Adrian Flux - 23, 5 years NCB, Fully comp, mods declared and euro breakdown cover. 981 which is very good since I live in birmingstad. driving a group 20 import:lol:

other one to try is Flux direct they are a sister to adrian flux but are meant to be online only however I phoned them to quote me on a VX220 Turbo...endsleigh were the cheapest at 3k, flux direct halved it.

Swinton by far the cheapest for me. Getting a 1.8 for a first car was never going to be cheap but I think it's fairly reasonable considering. Will have been driving for a year end of March Very Happy

Well my insurance is due at the end of the month, and i need some idea's (a plan b if you will) for if Flux decide they want to abuse the hell out of my wallet for the engine swap. Will try Flux direct. Anyone heard of Chris Knotts insurance?

Yup, wouldn't quote me or Sez, which considering they are 4x4 'specialists' was a bit poo.

I tried a quote with them but won't insure a car with no back seats which I need out for the harnesses (and not sure it matters as the lude rear seats can only fit people with no legs)!

If you can get a quote though join a car forum where they get discount before taking the policy Wink

Really?! Where I work we underwrite Swinton policies, and tbh we're expensive for everyone lol

I'm with Admiral myself, they've been cheapest for me since I had my VTR. Was with Sky Insurance for my flatarch, they absolutely bum-raped me when I needed to cancel it, but were good with mods and gave me 2 years introductory NCD. They were also the one company to quote the MX5 and Eunos at the same price, rather then stick on 500 for it being an import.... but they were quoting me 500 more than what I'm paying anyway!

http://www.fluxdirect.co.uk/callback.php if you didn't spot it on the website, they told me they would be the same price as Adrian Flux though, I think I went with them because the guy was so nice on the phone. HIC, and both types of Flux are basically the same!

Reis were a pain in the arse to get a quote from, though they did give a few suggestions of other firms to try. I got a quote off graham sykes for 570 which is the best ive had yet. Probably won't get a better offer but ive still a few others to call.

Yup... mine went up over 30% when i renewed, even with an extra years NCB.

Insurance companies just aren't making money, people keep trying to rip them off, and we all suffer the consequences.
