http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170572301809&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Went to view it tonight.

Body work is good, bar some rust on the sills at the rear, only seems to be surface rust, no holes and just flaking paint.
Power steering pump needs changing.

It has no MOT or Tax.

Only issue is with the rust if it will pass the MOT???

need to know by 10.30pm as have to ring the bloke and say if I am sending a deposite..

Should pass the MOT if it is truly surface rust. Make sure it is though, cos they can go big time
In that area.

Apart from that, looks a bit of a bargain tbh... If you want bargain lowness then pick up some Raceland/Rokkor coilies, only about 160 and many people rate them well over the standard setup!

That looks nice mate, good little motor. Is that rear screen sagging though? Just thinkin a soft top aint cheap to fix. If I'm wrong I apologise. Good find!!

The rear window needs replacing dabbot.

Seeing as its pretty cheap and Stu said his friend should pass it aslong as only surface rust thats been treated.

Went to look at it tonight and it seems pretty good, only heavy steering which new pump or pipes should solve.

Red one now has a reserve on it, originally ask what he'd want to take it. Said 900, hes now put the reserve on probably at 900.

So doesnt look like I am getting anything soon.
Sad unless my wheels and exhaust go by the weekend.

thats the thing ideally you wanna be buying now due to being winter and the prices being more reasonable...sods law you'll sell just before summer and mx-5s start hitting silly money for a good'un again.

it's worth a try e-mailing them all, I am starting to consider after llandow if I still have it, it will be sold in bits Crying or Very sad

Yeah, that's it, prices are spot on atm, there's a couple of cali yellow ones on autotrader, and Mk2's are in easy reach now, which I think I'd prefer...

That's what I've been considering too, thing is though, parts from me don't seem to sell too easy Sad

Rich, it might actually come to that lol!

Would of mate but at a wedding in the Midlands?

Why don't you ask my little bro (nelly08) whether he could have a look at it for you first if it's just scoping it out to see whether it's a banger? Obviously if you are looking at buying it that day getting my brother there will be of no help!!

MR2 gets my vote, only because the MX5 has done too many miles and is only a 1.6.

I'm not 100%, but it might have the lower powered engine, get him to send a pic of the engine to your phone, if you can clearly see the H/T leads is only got 136bhp Sad
