JAE is just show & shine, it's big, but its more of a car show than anything else

if we did do the japfest @ combe I dunno what sort of value there'd be in doing both action days as well. Seems a bit excessive to do 3 session days at Combe. the one at Rockingham has more appeal I think.

This year me, woz, nellers and nelly08 went japfest at combe and it was rammed full!! Much bigger show than the PCAD days.

If JAE is mostly show & shine then combe would seem like the better market for our club?

TBH l think both would be good Very Happy

I'd go for Rockingham over Combe, purely on the basis that a fair proportion of the people that attend there are likely to attend the action days too, so we're limiting our market a bit by doing 3 x Combe days.

Other than that I'm not fussed.

I preferred Rockingham as a track over Combe too tbh. Better value for money as long as you exclude the food Laughing

But they do have that LUSH thai van!

Japfest at the Rock for me, plus the two action days would see me happy.

Isnt the rock japfest the day that clashes with combe though?

If not then great japfest at rockingham Very Happy

Personally l dont see the problem with doing both japfests if people want to attend. And any other jap shows for that matter. If we get the names down l dont see the fudging problem!

How can no stand be better than having stand at these shows!

I'm certain at least one of you knows that we're discussing the list of events for next year on saturday. maybe we can hold off on committing ourselves to things until we've been down that road first?

we're all happy to discuss it, so lets do just that. Nobody has any idea of dates or prices yet

Good to see a list of planned events being made on Sat for 2011.

From my point of view because I can't afford many trackdays in a year I am happy to visit more shows to promote the club as this will only cost fuel and my time. If I could afford more trackdays in the year I would do that and probably not as many shows.

Why not make a list of trackdays and people who can afford it will turn up and a list of shows we would like to attend and people can put their names down for them? Think you'll find the people with the money for a few trackdays a year will prefer the trackday and will either come to the shows where possible as well or will just be happy with their track time, but at least the people who can't afford to be on track can still promote the club and meet up for club socialising!?
